2. 8 ONLY: beginning of the novel

 Travail sur votre roman:

- avant de lire, imaginez pourquoi le titre est  Death of a Perfect Wife : What is a perfect wife? Who would kill such a person? Why?

 

- puis lisez uniquement le tout début du roman de MC Beaton, jusqu'au milieu de la page 3 "cup of coffee" et répondez dans votre cahier aux questions suivantes:

1° Where does the scene take place? What sort of place is described?

2° Who is the main character? What's his job? What is he doing at the beginning?

3.° What do the Currie sisters think of Hamish Macbeth? Can you guess why?

4.Why does Jessie mention Miss Halburton-Smythe "maliciously"?
