Grammar

  Grammar   Rappel : le prétérit Le prétérit   permet de présenter une action PASSEE, TERMINEE, souvent DATEE ,   un fait totalement coupé du présent. Ex: The girl met a wolf, she started to run…   On le construit avec -ED sauf pour les verbes irréguliers… que vous connaissez maintenant par cœur… L’auxiliaire est DID (questions, négations , réponses courtes…)   Le prétérit BE + V-ing   Le prétérit be+ing s'emploie pour décrire une action en cours de déroulement dans le passé. Ex: She was having breakfast when the girl arrived. L’auxiliaire BE est au passé, suivi du verbe en _ing. Donc : He was walking / They were working Was he walking? He wasn’t working…
